There are window repairs and there are window repairs. Our task here was to draft and draw a detailed Schedule of Repairs for some two hundred and eighty of England's earliest double hung sliding sash windows, installed by Wren in the early 1690's. You wouldn't believe how many different things one can do to a window; it was absolutely fascinating.
